Description: Since Russia's occupation of the Crimean Peninsula in 2014, the armed conflict in Ukraine has been simmering but the outbreak of all out war on February 23 illustrates a new phase that holds devastating consequences for Ukraine and threatens to unravel security in Europe as well as challenged world order. On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, New School faculty members Nina Khrushcheva (Professor, International Affairs), Jessica Pisano (Associate Professor, Politics), Everita Silina (Assistant Professor, International Affairs), and Peter J. Hoffman (Associate Professor and Director, Graduate Programs in International Affairs) gathered to discuss and examine Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This event was hosted by the Julien J. Studley Graduate Programs in International Affairs at The New School. Learn more: newschool.edu/international-affairs Follow them on Instagram & Twitter: @NewSchool_IA
